Hellooooo...we are so happy and crazed that I hope this post makes sense! Here's the scoop...
Her name is Hui Ping soon to be Elaine (Ellie) Hui Ping Holmes
Born April 12, 2006 (Only a little over 7months!)
She is in the Gansu Province of China which is in the northern part of the country...almost to Mongolia!....yes...we are going to be cold cold cold in January!
Trust me...more is coming!

What a doll baby your Ellie is, congrats. And don't worry you shouldn't be too cold because you will be so filled with the warmth of love to keep you warm while in China (but bring your long johns just in case it's not enough).

I saw your link on the RQ site and just had to check it out. Your Ellie is just beautiful! I know you are over the moon! We came home with our Ellie last Feb. when she was 10 months old. If you need any travel advice I would be more than happy to share.

Is your baby from HUINING in Gansu? Someone told me about seeing your referral and we have a daughter from Huining. Her name was Guo Ting Ting but since the SWI name is Huining (town name also), I wonder if they are changing the name of the babies to HUI. If she's from Huining, there are just a few babies from that orphanage. We were the first international adoption in February 2004.
Ellie has the "Huining Hat" on in the photos so I expect she's one of the precious Huining babies!

Our little girl was 7 months at referral as well earlier this year. At first it was a shock to us (hehe we asked for a 12-14 month old)! But when we saw the referral picture, that shock quickly went away and we busied ourselves getting ready for gotcha day.
I can't wait to see you receive your TA and head to China!

Congratulations. Ellie is beautiful. We are also in Arizona -- Gold Canyon -- and LID 1/6/06.
She is a beauty! Our daughter is in Heilongjiang Province which is in the Eastern area of China south of Russia. The average temp is 5 degrees with -23 below Brrrrrr..... down-filled jackets will definetely be needed!
